What You’ll Be Doing
- Assist with receiving deliveries and verifying goods against invoices
- Conduct daily cash-ups and reconcile takings against the POS report
- Support stock counts and assist with cycle-count investigations
- Operate point-of-sale systems and process payments accurately
- Promote loyalty programmes and capture customer information lawfully
- Up-sell and cross-sell products in line with branch sales targets
- Respond to customer queries, complaints and product returns
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and consumer protection regulations
Essential Criteria
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office, email)
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a customer-facing retail role
- Visual merchandising flair or formal training is an advantage
- Awareness of consumer protection and B-BBEE principles
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment
- A clear criminal record verified through approved screening providers
- Numerate and accurate, with attention to detail on cash-ups
