Daily Duties
- Support investigations into theft, fraud and policy breaches
- Conduct legal research and prepare opinions for the legal team
- Track legal and regulatory changes and advise the business on impact
- Operate access control points and verify visitor credentials
- Draft, review and amend commercial contracts and service agreements
- Manage matter files, court diaries and litigation deadlines
- Liaise with the Sheriff, Master’s Office and external counsel
- Run compliance training for staff on POPIA, FICA and ethics
Candidate Profile
- Excellent attention to detail when reviewing documents and evidence
- Strong report-writing skills with accurate, factual content
- 2+ years’ relevant experience in legal or security operations
- Sound ethical judgement and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure incidents
- Active PSIRA registration at the appropriate grade for security roles
