Security Officer

Work-Force

Looking for your next move as a Security Officer in Hartswater? A role has just opened that gives you real responsibility and a clear path forward in Northern Cape.

About the Opportunity

The Security Officer vacancy forms part of how the Hartswater branch keeps performing. It pairs day-to-day delivery with longer-running priorities that keep the legal and security jobs side of the business moving forward.

Notably, the organisation keeps reporting lines clean and expectations realistic. Performance is measured against a small, agreed set of metrics, and there are no surprise yardsticks for the Security Officer taking on this position.

Equally, the role has been written to be sustainable, not just busy. Strong output is expected, and managers in Hartswater also pay attention to recovery, learning and the kind of breathing room that keeps people doing good work over time.

Career Growth

This role can grow with you. Strong performers in the legal and security jobs team in Hartswater have moved into senior, supervisory and specialist positions, and that journey is supported through coaching, training and exposure to bigger projects.

Growth conversations happen at a regular cadence — not just at year-end — so the path forward stays current and realistic for every Hartswater team member.

Internal mobility is encouraged. People who start in Hartswater have moved into roles in other branches, specialist functions and project teams across Northern Cape.

Your Workplace

On top of that, the environment is process-driven and regulation-aware. Whether you are at a desk or on site, attention to detail, calm conduct and accurate reporting are non-negotiable.

Crucially, the role is intended to operate under the hiring organisation’s workplace conduct, health and safety policies in Northern Cape.

Practically speaking, the working environment is set up to give the team the focus needed for deeper work, while keeping collaboration and quick problem-solving close at hand.

Meet the Team

Beyond that, the team you will be working with is fast-paced and energetic. Things move quickly across the Hartswater office, and the people who thrive here are the ones who plan ahead, communicate openly and pick up the slack when Northern Cape operations get busy.

Line management is hands-on without being heavy. Expect regular one-to-ones, honest feedback and the support needed to do good work consistently.
