Security Guard

Work-Force

The organisation is recruiting a Security Guard for its Witbank operation. The role forms part of a wider legal and security jobs portfolio across Mpumalanga.

The Role

Notably, the Security Guard vacancy forms part of how the Witbank branch keeps performing. It pairs day-to-day delivery with longer-running priorities that keep the legal and security jobs side of the business moving forward.

Expect a structured first ninety days, with onboarding milestones, regular check-ins, and an early focus on getting comfortable with the systems and processes that underpin the Witbank team.

Reasonable working hours and respectful planning are part of how the role runs. The team values strong delivery, and load is balanced fairly across the legal and security jobs group in Witbank.

In addition, the role has been written to be sustainable, not just busy. Strong output is expected, and managers in Witbank also pay attention to recovery, learning and the kind of breathing room that keeps people doing good work over time.

The Environment

Importantly, the environment is process-driven and regulation-aware. Whether you are at a desk or on site, attention to detail, calm conduct and accurate reporting are non-negotiable.

What Your Day Looks Like

Your day is built on focus and detail. You work through matter files or post lists, review evidence or contracts and check that every required record is in place. Communication with site teams, attorneys, clients or SAPS is constant, and you keep your reports factual, precise and timely. When something out of the ordinary happens, you respond calmly and follow procedure, knowing that good documentation today protects the business tomorrow.

In addition, the rhythm rewards people who plan ahead but also pivot quickly when Mpumalanga operations throw up the unexpected.

Equally, the Witbank office buzzes through peak hours and settles into focused, productive lulls in between, giving you time to plan and reset before the next stretch of work.

No two days look exactly the same — and that variety is part of what keeps the role engaging for the right candidate in Witbank.

Your Team

Practically speaking, the team you will be working with is fast-paced and energetic. Things move quickly across the Witbank office, and the people who thrive here are the ones who plan ahead, communicate openly and pick up the slack when Mpumalanga operations get busy.

In addition, the team structure and working relationships for this role in Witbank will be explained during the hiring process.
