This is a current vacancy. Whether you are a seasoned Risk and Compliance Analyst or stepping into the role for the first time, there is space for you in Empangeni. The team hires on merit and across communities in KwaZulu-Natal.
About the Opportunity
The organisation is investing in its Empangeni operation, and this Risk and Compliance Analyst position reflects that commitment. The successful candidate will work across the legal and security jobs function and contribute to the wider KwaZulu-Natal business.
Notably, the organisation keeps reporting lines clean and expectations realistic. Performance is measured against a small, agreed set of metrics, and there are no surprise yardsticks for the Risk and Compliance Analyst taking on this position.
Quality is everyone’s job. Whether the Risk and Compliance Analyst is processing a transaction, supporting a colleague or handling a customer query, the standard expected in KwaZulu-Natal is consistently high and consistently fair.
Internal documentation, process notes and shared playbooks make it easier for the Risk and Compliance Analyst to step into the legal and security jobs workflow quickly. Institutional knowledge is well-organised, so people are not reinventing the wheel from one week to the next.
A Typical Day
Your day is built on focus and detail. You work through matter files or post lists, review evidence or contracts and check that every required record is in place. Communication with site teams, attorneys, clients or SAPS is constant, and you keep your reports factual, precise and timely. When something out of the ordinary happens, you respond calmly and follow procedure, knowing that good documentation today protects the business tomorrow.
Importantly, the rhythm rewards people who plan ahead but also pivot quickly when KwaZulu-Natal operations throw up the unexpected.
No two days look exactly the same — and that variety is part of what keeps the role engaging for the right candidate in Empangeni.
Notably, the Empangeni office buzzes through peak hours and settles into focused, productive lulls in between, giving you time to plan and reset before the next stretch of work.
