Key Responsibilities
- Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and code calls
- Administer prescribed medications and document treatments accurately
- Support quality improvement audits and clinical governance reviews
- Maintain accurate clinical records in line with SANC and POPIA
- Participate in multi-disciplinary ward rounds and care planning
- Liaise with medical aids and process pre-authorisations where required
- Provide compassionate, patient-centred care in line with scope of practice
Minimum Requirements
- Strong infection prevention and control awareness
- Working knowledge of POPIA as it applies to patient information
- Proven clinical experience appropriate to the level advertised
- Empathy, integrity and respect for patient dignity
- BLS, ACLS or PALS certification where applicable to the role
