Your Team

You will join a tight-knit, collaborative team that knows the health jobs side of the business inside out. The Newcastle group is a healthy mix of experienced operators and newer joiners, all of whom share a strong commitment to delivery and to one another.

Line management is hands-on without being heavy. Expect regular one-to-ones, honest feedback and the support needed to do good work consistently.

Collaboration is the default working mode. Whether picking up a quick query or working through a complex project, you will find colleagues willing to lean in and help.

Your Role

  • Provide compassionate, patient-centred care in line with scope of practice
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary ward rounds and care planning
  • Liaise with medical aids and process pre-authorisations where required
  • Maintain accurate clinical records in line with SANC and POPIA
  • Mentor student nurses and junior staff during their rotations
  • Support infection prevention and control protocols across the unit
  • Support quality improvement audits and clinical governance reviews

What You’ll Need

  • Up-to-date immunisations as required by occupational health policy
  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays as required
  • Clear criminal record verified through approved screening
  • BLS, ACLS or PALS certification where applicable to the role
  • Computer literacy and experience with electronic health records
