Medical Records Clerk

Work-Force

Looking for your next move as a Medical Records Clerk in Pinetown? A role has just opened that gives you real responsibility and a clear path forward in KwaZulu-Natal.

About the Opportunity

The Medical Records Clerk vacancy forms part of how the Pinetown branch keeps performing. It pairs day-to-day delivery with longer-running priorities that keep the health jobs side of the business moving forward.

Communication runs both ways. Managers across the health jobs team in KwaZulu-Natal make time for one-to-ones, and people are expected to speak up early when something needs attention.

Quality is everyone’s job. Whether the Medical Records Clerk is processing a transaction, supporting a colleague or handling a customer query, the standard expected in KwaZulu-Natal is consistently high and consistently fair.

Day in the Life

You start your shift with a thorough handover, picking up patient histories, treatment plans and any concerns from the previous team. The morning is paced but purposeful — vital signs, medication rounds, bedside conversations — and you’re constantly switching between clinical tasks and the very human work of reassuring patients and families. Multi-disciplinary rounds give you a chance to advocate for your patients, and by the time you hand over again, you have done meaningful work that makes a real difference to the people in your care.

Practically speaking, the rhythm rewards people who plan ahead but also pivot quickly when KwaZulu-Natal operations throw up the unexpected.

No two days look exactly the same — and that variety is part of what keeps the role engaging for the right candidate in Pinetown.

Diversity and Inclusion

On top of that, the organisation is committed to fair, merit-based recruitment and equal opportunity. Applications are assessed against the published role requirements in line with applicable employment law.

In addition, the hiring organisation’s applicable employment-equity and inclusion practices will be explained in the final vacancy details for KwaZulu-Natal.

B-BBEE compliance is more than a scorecard here. It informs how the business invests in skills development, supplier diversity and community engagement across the country.

Your Team

Importantly, you will join a tight-knit, collaborative team that knows the health jobs side of the business inside out. The Pinetown group is a healthy mix of experienced operators and newer joiners, all of whom share a strong commitment to delivery and to one another.

In addition, the team structure and working relationships for this role in Pinetown will be explained during the hiring process.
