Key Responsibilities
- Promote menu items, daily specials and loyalty programmes
- Operate point-of-sale systems and reconcile end-of-shift takings
- Prepare and present food in line with kitchen recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness in front-of-house and back-of-house areas
- Manage stock, breakages and consumables for your section
- Respond promptly to guest requests, complaints and special needs
- Take orders accurately and deliver food and beverages to standard
- Support events, banquets and conference operations
Candidate Profile
- Relevant hospitality qualification or culinary diploma (advantageous)
- Clear criminal record and contactable references
- Awareness of tourism grading and quality expectations
- Matric / National Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
- Willing to follow the company’s uniform and grooming policy on shift
- Good verbal communication skills in English; second language an advantage
- Physically able to stand for long periods in a fast-paced environment
