Legal Secretary

Work-Force

The organisation is recruiting a Legal Secretary for its Uitenhage operation. The role forms part of a wider legal and security jobs portfolio across Eastern Cape.

The Role

Notably, the Legal Secretary position is part of an ongoing recruitment drive across Eastern Cape. The brief has been shaped carefully, with a focus on delivery in Uitenhage and across the legal and security jobs space.

Importantly, the role suits a candidate who values consistency and clear communication. The Uitenhage operation runs on accurate work, steady relationships and a genuine respect for the people in the team.

Tools, systems and information are there to support the role rather than slow it down. The company continues to invest in the technology that backs its Uitenhage teams, and the new Legal Secretary will feel that from the first week.

Your Team

On top of that, the team you will be working with is fast-paced and energetic. Things move quickly across the Uitenhage office, and the people who thrive here are the ones who plan ahead, communicate openly and pick up the slack when Eastern Cape operations get busy.

Notably, the team structure and working relationships for this role in Uitenhage will be explained during the hiring process.

Line management is hands-on without being heavy. Expect regular one-to-ones, honest feedback and the support needed to do good work consistently.

What Your Day Looks Like

Your day is built on focus and detail. You work through matter files or post lists, review evidence or contracts and check that every required record is in place. Communication with site teams, attorneys, clients or SAPS is constant, and you keep your reports factual, precise and timely. When something out of the ordinary happens, you respond calmly and follow procedure, knowing that good documentation today protects the business tomorrow.

Importantly, the Uitenhage office buzzes through peak hours and settles into focused, productive lulls in between, giving you time to plan and reset before the next stretch of work.

No two days look exactly the same — and that variety is part of what keeps the role engaging for the right candidate in Uitenhage.

Why This Role

You will join a team that values respectful collaboration, honest feedback and shared wins. The Uitenhage colleagues take pride in supporting one another and in doing the legal and security jobs side of the business properly, day in and day out.

Practically speaking, the role’s development opportunities, training and benefits, if offered, will be set out in the final vacancy details.
