Work-Force
Applications are warmly invited for a Legal Secretary role based in Roodepoort. We welcome candidates from every background across Gauteng who are ready to grow with us.
About This Position
This Legal Secretary role sits within the legal and security jobs function in Roodepoort. It offers a defined scope, clear measures of success, and the support of an experienced team across Gauteng.
The organisation keeps reporting lines clean and expectations realistic. Performance is measured against a small, agreed set of metrics, and there are no surprise yardsticks for the Legal Secretary taking on this position.
Notably, the role has been written to be sustainable, not just busy. Strong output is expected, and managers in Roodepoort also pay attention to recovery, learning and the kind of breathing room that keeps people doing good work over time.
A Typical Day
Your day is built on focus and detail. You work through matter files or post lists, review evidence or contracts and check that every required record is in place. Communication with site teams, attorneys, clients or SAPS is constant, and you keep your reports factual, precise and timely. When something out of the ordinary happens, you respond calmly and follow procedure, knowing that good documentation today protects the business tomorrow.
Equally, the Roodepoort office buzzes through peak hours and settles into focused, productive lulls in between, giving you time to plan and reset before the next stretch of work.
No two days look exactly the same — and that variety is part of what keeps the role engaging for the right candidate in Roodepoort.
Your Workplace
Notably, the environment is process-driven and regulation-aware. Whether you are at a desk or on site, attention to detail, calm conduct and accurate reporting are non-negotiable.
A respectful, professional environment is the standard in Gauteng. Bullying, harassment and unfair conduct have no place here, and managers are trained to act decisively when concerns are raised.
Health, safety and well-being are taken seriously. Current policies and procedures are maintained, and the Roodepoort site adheres to the standards expected of a responsible South African employer.
