Daily Duties

  • Conduct legal research and prepare opinions for the legal team
  • Track legal and regulatory changes and advise the business on impact
  • Liaise with the Sheriff, Master’s Office and external counsel
  • Maintain FICA and KYC records in line with regulatory requirements
  • Maintain PSIRA registration and uphold the security industry code of conduct

Essential Criteria

  • Physical fitness for site-based security roles
  • Sound understanding of POPIA and applicable legal frameworks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Relevant qualification: LLB, paralegal diploma or PSIRA grading as required
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and refresher training
  • Computer literacy and experience with case or incident management systems
  • Clear criminal record verified through approved screening
