This is a current vacancy. Role: HR Generalist. Location: Aliwal North, Eastern Cape. The team is hiring and seeks a candidate who can step in and deliver from week one.
The Role
An experienced HR Generalist is needed to support operations in Aliwal North. The role forms part of how the business keeps its hr jobs portfolio strong in Eastern Cape.
Expect a structured first ninety days, with onboarding milestones, regular check-ins, and an early focus on getting comfortable with the systems and processes that underpin the Aliwal North team.
Tools, systems and information are there to support the role rather than slow it down. The company continues to invest in the technology that backs its Aliwal North teams, and the new HR Generalist will feel that from the first week.

Your Role
- Coordinate training, learnerships and bursary programmes with SETAs
- Drive engagement, wellness and culture initiatives across sites
- Compile workforce reports for EE, B-BBEE and skills development submissions
- Maintain accurate employee records on the HRIS
- Manage benefits, pension or provident fund and medical aid administration
What You’ll Need
- Hands-on experience with HRIS and payroll systems
- Sound understanding of EE and B-BBEE compliance reporting
- Sound knowledge of the LRA, BCEA, EEA and Skills Development Act
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR metrics
- Ability to handle sensitive employee information with discretion
