Work-Force
An opportunity has arisen for a Forklift Operator in Kathu. Suitably qualified candidates from across Northern Cape are invited to apply.
About the Opportunity
This Forklift Operator role sits within the logistics jobs function in Kathu. It offers a defined scope, clear measures of success, and the support of an experienced team across Northern Cape.
The successful applicant is given the room to plan, deliver and review their work without unnecessary noise. The organisation has built its Kathu team on trust, and the Forklift Operator role will feel that from week one.
Tools, systems and information are there to support the role rather than slow it down. The company continues to invest in the technology that backs its Kathu teams, and the new Forklift Operator will feel that from the first week.
Where You’ll Work
On top of that, the environment is operationally driven and physical at times, with shift-based work, strict safety standards and a strong focus on accuracy and on-time delivery.
Notably, the working environment is set up to give the team the focus needed for deeper work, while keeping collaboration and quick problem-solving close at hand.
A respectful, professional environment is the standard in Northern Cape. Bullying, harassment and unfair conduct have no place here, and managers are trained to act decisively when concerns are raised.
Based in Kathu
Practically speaking, the role is based in Kathu, within the Upington solar corridor. Public transport links and parking are within easy reach, making the daily commute manageable for candidates living across Kathu and the broader Northern Cape region.
Accessibility is taken seriously: where the role allows, the team works toward a balance of in-office presence and flexibility for candidates based in and around Kathu.
Many candidates already living within reach of Kathu cite the location as one of the role’s quiet wins, with shorter commutes and a real sense of being plugged into the local Northern Cape economy.
