Executive Assistant

Work-Force

A Executive Assistant position is being filled in East London. Suitable candidates from across Eastern Cape are invited to submit their applications for review.

About the Opportunity

The Executive Assistant position is part of an ongoing recruitment drive across Eastern Cape. The brief has been shaped carefully, with a focus on delivery in East London and across the administration jobs space.

Notably, the role suits a candidate who values consistency and clear communication. The East London operation runs on accurate work, steady relationships and a genuine respect for the people in the team.

Internal documentation, process notes and shared playbooks make it easier for the Executive Assistant to step into the administration jobs workflow quickly. Institutional knowledge is well-organised, so people are not reinventing the wheel from one week to the next.

What Your Day Looks Like

Your day starts at the front of the business, ready to greet visitors, answer the switchboard and make sure the leadership diaries are in order. Through the morning you balance calls, couriers, capturing data and supporting projects with neat, accurate work. After lunch, you might be preparing minutes from a board pack, helping HR onboard a new starter, or chasing a courier across town. By close of day, every desk you support knows you have it covered, and the office is set up for a calm, productive tomorrow.

Beyond that, the rhythm rewards people who plan ahead but also pivot quickly when Eastern Cape operations throw up the unexpected.

No two days look exactly the same — and that variety is part of what keeps the role engaging for the right candidate in East London.

Our Commitment to Transformation

Equally, the organisation is committed to transformation and equal opportunity. Hiring is on merit, and applications are actively encouraged from women, youth, people with disabilities and other historically disadvantaged groups in line with the Employment Equity plan and B-BBEE objectives.

Inclusive hiring extends through onboarding and into how teams operate every day. Respectful, fair conduct is expected from every team member in East London.

B-BBEE compliance is more than a scorecard here. It informs how the business invests in skills development, supplier diversity and community engagement across the country.
