Work-Force
Bring your skills as a Engineering Foreman to Bellville and join a team that moves fast. This Western Cape role is one to watch.
About the Opportunity
This Engineering Foreman role sits within the engineering jobs function in Bellville. It offers a defined scope, clear measures of success, and the support of an experienced team across Western Cape.
The successful applicant is given the room to plan, deliver and review their work without unnecessary noise. The organisation has built its Bellville team on trust, and the Engineering Foreman role will feel that from week one.
Stakeholders for this position include line managers, peers across the engineering jobs team and trusted external partners. Building those relationships early makes the next twelve months in Bellville much easier.
A Typical Day
Mornings often begin on site, walking through plant or project areas with the team and picking up where yesterday’s work ended. You move between technical reviews, contractor discussions and hands-on troubleshooting, balancing safety, cost and quality at every decision point. The afternoon might involve drawings, reports or a planning session for an upcoming shutdown. By the time you knock off, you have kept production running, advanced the project plan and helped the team go home safely.
Beyond that, the rhythm rewards people who plan ahead but also pivot quickly when Western Cape operations throw up the unexpected.
No two days look exactly the same — and that variety is part of what keeps the role engaging for the right candidate in Bellville.
Our Commitment to Transformation
Equally, the organisation is committed to transformation and equal opportunity. Hiring is on merit, and applications are actively encouraged from women, youth, people with disabilities and other historically disadvantaged groups in line with the Employment Equity plan and B-BBEE objectives.
Inclusive hiring extends through onboarding and into how teams operate every day. Respectful, fair conduct is expected from every team member in Bellville.
B-BBEE compliance is more than a scorecard here. It informs how the business invests in skills development, supplier diversity and community engagement across the country.
Career Growth
On top of that, this role can grow with you. Strong performers in the engineering jobs team in Bellville have moved into senior, supervisory and specialist positions, and that journey is supported through coaching, training and exposure to bigger projects.
Internal mobility is encouraged. People who start in Bellville have moved into roles in other branches, specialist functions and project teams across Western Cape.
Growth conversations happen at a regular cadence — not just at year-end — so the path forward stays current and realistic for every Bellville team member.
