We are seeking a reliable Driver Assistant to join our Liquor Distribution team in Brackenfell. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring smooth and efficient deliveries while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Punctuality: Report on time for work and adhere to the assigned delivery schedule to ensure efficient operations.
- Loading and Unloading: Assist with the loading and unloading of stock for deliveries and collections, ensuring all items are handled safely.
- Accurate Packing: Ensure accurate packing of stock for delivery to minimize discrepancies and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Documentation: Complete daily paperwork accurately, maintaining clear records of deliveries and collections.
- Customer Interaction: Interact with customers in a professional manner, addressing their queries and providing support as needed.
- Defective Stock Management: Uplift defective stock according to company policy, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
- Traffic Compliance: Adhere to Traffic Law Act regulations at all times while operating the vehicle.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Manage the daily upkeep and cleanliness of the delivery vehicle to ensure safety and professionalism.
- Dress Code Adherence: Follow the company’s dress code to maintain a professional image.
Requirements and Experience:
- Education: Grade 12 qualification is essential.
- Driver’s License: A Code 10 or 14 Driver’s License is beneficial.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous, with a strong emphasis on customer service and teamwork.
