Copywriter

Work-Force

An opportunity has arisen for a Copywriter in Cradock. Suitably qualified candidates from across Eastern Cape are invited to apply.

What This Role Involves

The organisation is investing in its Cradock operation, and this Copywriter position reflects that commitment. The successful candidate will work across the marketing jobs function and contribute to the wider Eastern Cape business.

Beyond that, the organisation keeps reporting lines clean and expectations realistic. Performance is measured against a small, agreed set of metrics, and there are no surprise yardsticks for the Copywriter taking on this position.

Tools, systems and information are there to support the role rather than slow it down. The company continues to invest in the technology that backs its Cradock teams, and the new Copywriter will feel that from the first week.

Practically speaking, the role has been written to be sustainable, not just busy. Strong output is expected, and managers in Cradock also pay attention to recovery, learning and the kind of breathing room that keeps people doing good work over time.

A Typical Day

You usually start by scanning campaign dashboards over coffee, checking performance against targets and flagging anything that needs attention. Mornings are often given to creative work — briefing designers, refining copy, planning the next content drop — while afternoons mix stakeholder meetings, agency calls and a steady stream of approvals. In between, you’re watching what competitors are doing, listening to what customers are saying online, and shaping the next set of experiments to push the brand forward.

On top of that, the Cradock office buzzes through peak hours and settles into focused, productive lulls in between, giving you time to plan and reset before the next stretch of work.

Crucially, the rhythm rewards people who plan ahead but also pivot quickly when Eastern Cape operations throw up the unexpected.

No two days look exactly the same — and that variety is part of what keeps the role engaging for the right candidate in Cradock.
