On top of that, the role suits a candidate who values consistency and clear communication. The Virginia operation runs on accurate work, steady relationships and a genuine respect for the people in the team.
Beyond that, the role has been written to be sustainable, not just busy. Strong output is expected, and managers in Virginia also pay attention to recovery, learning and the kind of breathing room that keeps people doing good work over time.
Stakeholders for this position include line managers, peers across the legal and security jobs team and trusted external partners. Building those relationships early makes the next twelve months in Virginia much easier.
Equal Opportunity
Diverse teams build stronger workplaces. Applications are welcome from candidates of every background, language and community across Free State, and recruitment is fair, transparent and aligned with the EE Act.

B-BBEE compliance is more than a scorecard here. It informs how the business invests in skills development, supplier diversity and community engagement across the country.
A Typical Day
Your day is built on focus and detail. You work through matter files or post lists, review evidence or contracts and check that every required record is in place. Communication with site teams, attorneys, clients or SAPS is constant, and you keep your reports factual, precise and timely. When something out of the ordinary happens, you respond calmly and follow procedure, knowing that good documentation today protects the business tomorrow.
Crucially, the rhythm rewards people who plan ahead but also pivot quickly when Free State operations throw up the unexpected.
On top of that, the Virginia office buzzes through peak hours and settles into focused, productive lulls in between, giving you time to plan and reset before the next stretch of work.
No two days look exactly the same — and that variety is part of what keeps the role engaging for the right candidate in Virginia.
