A Control Room Operator position is being filled in Centurion. Suitable candidates from across Gauteng are invited to submit their applications for review.

What This Role Involves

The organisation is investing in its Centurion operation, and this Control Room Operator position reflects that commitment. The successful candidate will work across the legal and security jobs function and contribute to the wider Gauteng business.

In addition, the role suits a candidate who values consistency and clear communication. The Centurion operation runs on accurate work, steady relationships and a genuine respect for the people in the team.

Tools, systems and information are there to support the role rather than slow it down. The company continues to invest in the technology that backs its Centurion teams, and the new Control Room Operator will feel that from the first week.

Your Team

You will join a tight-knit, collaborative team that knows the legal and security jobs side of the business inside out. The Centurion group is a healthy mix of experienced operators and newer joiners, all of whom share a strong commitment to delivery and to one another.

Notably, the team mix in Centurion reflects a balance of experienced operators and emerging talent, with deliberate space for diverse voices and backgrounds.

Line management is hands-on without being heavy. Expect regular one-to-ones, honest feedback and the support needed to do good work consistently.

Day in the Life

Your day is built on focus and detail. You work through matter files or post lists, review evidence or contracts and check that every required record is in place. Communication with site teams, attorneys, clients or SAPS is constant, and you keep your reports factual, precise and timely. When something out of the ordinary happens, you respond calmly and follow procedure, knowing that good documentation today protects the business tomorrow.

Beyond that, the rhythm rewards people who plan ahead but also pivot quickly when Gauteng operations throw up the unexpected.

On top of that, the Centurion office buzzes through peak hours and settles into focused, productive lulls in between, giving you time to plan and reset before the next stretch of work.

Where You’ll Work

On top of that, the environment is process-driven and regulation-aware. Whether you are at a desk or on site, attention to detail, calm conduct and accurate reporting are non-negotiable.

Equally, a respectful, professional environment is the standard in Gauteng. Bullying, harassment and unfair conduct have no place here, and managers are trained to act decisively when concerns are raised.

Health, safety and well-being are taken seriously. Current policies and procedures are maintained, and the Centurion site adheres to the standards expected of a responsible South African employer.
