Job Description:
As a Commercial Insurance Broker, you will be responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of commercial clients. You will assess their insurance needs, provide expert advice on coverage options, and negotiate terms with insurance carriers to secure the best solutions for your clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ businesses to identify risks and appropriate insurance coverage.
- Develop and present insurance proposals and negotiate terms with insurers on behalf of clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends, products, and regulations to provide informed advice to clients.
- Assist clients with policy renewals, claims, and any changes to their coverage.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients throughout the insurance process.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of client interactions and transactions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Commercial Insurance Broker or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and services.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in using insurance brokerage software and CRM tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certifications in insurance (e.g., Chartered Insurance Broker (CIB), Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC)).
- Experience with claims handling and policy management.
