Caregiver

Work-Force

Listing live now. We believe great workplaces are built on great people. We are looking for a Caregiver in George, and we encourage applicants from across Western Cape to consider this opportunity.

About This Position

An experienced Caregiver is needed to support operations in George. The role forms part of how the business keeps its health jobs portfolio strong in Western Cape.

The successful applicant is given the room to plan, deliver and review their work without unnecessary noise. The organisation has built its George team on trust, and the Caregiver role will feel that from week one.

Internal documentation, process notes and shared playbooks make it easier for the Caregiver to step into the health jobs workflow quickly. Institutional knowledge is well-organised, so people are not reinventing the wheel from one week to the next.

Your Team

Equally, the team you will be working with is fast-paced and energetic. Things move quickly across the George office, and the people who thrive here are the ones who plan ahead, communicate openly and pick up the slack when Western Cape operations get busy.

Collaboration is the default working mode. Whether picking up a quick query or working through a complex project, you will find colleagues willing to lean in and help.

Line management is hands-on without being heavy. Expect regular one-to-ones, honest feedback and the support needed to do good work consistently.

Based in George

Crucially, the role is based in George, close to the Stellenbosch agricultural belt. Public transport links and parking are within easy reach, making the daily commute manageable for candidates living across George and the broader Western Cape region.

Many candidates already living within reach of George cite the location as one of the role’s quiet wins, with shorter commutes and a real sense of being plugged into the local Western Cape economy.

Accessibility is taken seriously: where the role allows, the team works toward a balance of in-office presence and flexibility for candidates based in and around George.

Your Workplace

Crucially, the environment is clinical, regulated and patient-centred. Shift work, infection control protocols and clear scope-of-practice boundaries are part of every working day.

Equally, the role is intended to operate under the hiring organisation’s workplace conduct, health and safety policies in Western Cape.

Health, safety and well-being are taken seriously. Current policies and procedures are maintained, and the George site adheres to the standards expected of a responsible South African employer.
