Overview:
The SSA Business Planning and Operations team supports the SSA Group Country Manager (GCM) and aims to achieve financial and business goals for the region. The team engages with internal stakeholders (GCM, Country Managers, CEMEA Hub, and various functional verticals) to provide guidance, oversight, and project management across strategic and business-as-usual (BAU) priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare reports and dashboards to provide business development teams, functional units, and management with a clear view of business performance and progress towards targets.
  • Review monthly financial data from the Finance department for accuracy and collaborate with the Finance team to address any discrepancies.
  • Prepare monthly market profitability reports with commentary to highlight trends and key drivers impacting financial results.
  • Prepare and distribute quarterly market sales performance data.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis (e.g., deep dives into markets, clients, products, revenue streams) to support new sales efforts, identify gaps, and provide business insights.
  • Review investments with relevant departments and ensure proper re-allocation of funds.
  • Track macroeconomic trends for SSA and generate regular market reports, highlighting significant changes and their reasons.
  • Contribute to the creation of common financial reporting tools for the region.
  • Support the BPO team in developing management dashboards and providing insights based on internal and external data.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or IT.
  • Expected graduation in 2026 (coursework completion by December 2025).
  • Available for a full-time internship from June 3, 2025, to August 28, 2025.
  • Must be available to transition into a full-time role by January 2026.

  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
  • Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Superior analytical and financial analysis capabilities.
  • Strong collaboration skills with a diverse peer group.
  • Ability to effectively articulate viewpoints to key stakeholders.
  • Self-confident and adaptable to a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
