Building Construction Foreman opportunity in Cape Town, Western Cape.
A leading construction company is seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to join its Western Cape team. This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on construction professional with a strong background in multi-storey residential developments, concrete works, wet trades, and general site supervision. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily site operations, coordinating labour and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record supervising multi-storey residential construction projects, with extensive experience overseeing concrete structures, wet trades, General Foremen, and the successful delivery of projects from structural works through to final finishes.
Requirements
Grade 12 (Matric). National Technical Certificate or Diploma in Construction, or Trade Qualification (Bricklaying, Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, or similar). Formal qualification in Health, Safety and Environmental Management will be advantageous.
Minimum 5–10 years’ experience as a Construction Foreman or in a similar supervisory role. Proven experience on multi-storey residential construction projects. Extensive experience supervising General Foremen, subcontractors, and site labour.
Strong experience managing concrete works, wet trades, and structural construction activities. Excellent knowledge of finishing trades and quality control. Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and site logistics.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
