Armed Response Officer

Work-Force

The organisation is recruiting a Armed Response Officer for its Paarl operation. The role forms part of a wider legal and security jobs portfolio across Western Cape.

About This Position

Equally, the organisation is investing in its Paarl operation, and this Armed Response Officer position reflects that commitment. The successful candidate will work across the legal and security jobs function and contribute to the wider Western Cape business.

Importantly, the successful applicant is given the room to plan, deliver and review their work without unnecessary noise. The organisation has built its Paarl team on trust, and the Armed Response Officer role will feel that from week one.

Tools, systems and information are there to support the role rather than slow it down. The company continues to invest in the technology that backs its Paarl teams, and the new Armed Response Officer will feel that from the first week.

Career Growth

This role can grow with you. Strong performers in the legal and security jobs team in Paarl have moved into senior, supervisory and specialist positions, and that journey is supported through coaching, training and exposure to bigger projects.

Training is a mix of formal courses, structured on-the-job learning and exposure to broader projects, all geared at building practical skills.

Growth conversations happen at a regular cadence — not just at year-end — so the path forward stays current and realistic for every Paarl team member.

A Typical Day

Your day is built on focus and detail. You work through matter files or post lists, review evidence or contracts and check that every required record is in place. Communication with site teams, attorneys, clients or SAPS is constant, and you keep your reports factual, precise and timely. When something out of the ordinary happens, you respond calmly and follow procedure, knowing that good documentation today protects the business tomorrow.

No two days look exactly the same — and that variety is part of what keeps the role engaging for the right candidate in Paarl.

Practically speaking, the Paarl office buzzes through peak hours and settles into focused, productive lulls in between, giving you time to plan and reset before the next stretch of work.
