Job Summary: The Management Accountant will be responsible for preparing and providing accurate documentation and reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and analyzing financial variances. This role includes supervising staff and overseeing various financial administration tasks, including product costing, forecasting, and budgeting.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and provide accurate financial reports and documentation.
- Analyze and report on financial variances.
- Oversee product costing and ensure accuracy in cost calculations.
- Conduct monthly forecasts and contribute to the development of annual budgets.
Compliance and Administration:
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Supervise and manage the performance of staff.
- Maintain accurate financial administration records and reports.
Key Performance Areas:
- Variance analysis and reporting.

- Monthly forecasts and annual budgets.
Knowledge Required:
- Minimum BCom degree.
- Accounting Diploma with a focus on Management Accounting.
Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant computer applications.
- Strong administrative skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Persistence, accuracy, and methodical approach to tasks.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transport are advantageous.
