This notice covers Work-Force’s CV builder, directory accounts, optional candidate sharing and recruiter memberships. For the rest of the website, read the website privacy policy.

Using the free CV builder
Your draft is edited in your browser. Building, downloading or printing it does not upload the CV into the recruiter directory or apply for a job. Device saving is optional. On a shared device, leave it off; Start over removes the builder’s saved draft. Downloaded files remain wherever you saved or copied them.
Creating an account
WordPress stores your account email and a securely hashed password. Use an email address you own and keep your password safe. An account does not by itself share your CV or grant recruiter access. Registration abuse controls use a keyed, non-readable address identifier for up to one hour. Other website/server logs and cookies are covered by the website privacy policy.
Choosing to share your CV
I voluntarily allow Work-Force to store my CV and make my name, contact details and CV information available to approved recruiters who pay for access to find and contact candidates about jobs. This is optional and is not required to build or download my CV. My listing expires after 12 months unless I renew it. I can update or withdraw it in this tool at any time. Withdrawal stops future access through Work-Force; it cannot recall copies already obtained by recruiters. Recruiters may use my information only for recruitment, not resale or unrelated marketing. The references section is excluded from the directory copy.
Sharing is for adults aged 18 or older. You must sign in, confirm that this is your own CV and separately accept the sharing notice. We store the CV, province, consent wording/version and submission time. The CV payload is encrypted; role, location and skills are separately searchable. Do not include ID numbers, bank details or sensitive personal information.
Who can see directory information?
Approved recruiters with current paid access and accepted recruitment-only terms can search. Search cards show a candidate number, target role, location and skills. Opening a CV reveals the name, contact details and shared CV sections. Administrative staff can manage the service. Candidate CVs are not public webpages or search-engine listings. We do not reuse previous job applications as directory consent.
Updates, withdrawal and retention
You can update or withdraw your directory CV from the signed-in builder. A listing expires 12 months after the latest opt-in. Daily cleanup removes expired profiles; minimal access/audit records are held for up to 90 days and removed by daily cleanup. Records used for a recruiter account or payment approval are separate from a candidate CV. WordPress accounts remain until separately deleted or handled through the account/privacy process.
Withdrawal stops future access here. It cannot recall files already obtained by recruiters. Recruiters must respect objections and deletion requests for copies they hold. Backups may retain earlier snapshots until rotated; contact the privacy email for a deletion or restoration concern.
Recruiter accounts and Payfast
Membership requests store the organisation name, account email, optional website/recruitment notes and request/approval dates. Work-Force verifies organisations and confirms payment before granting time-limited access. Payfast handles payment details on its own checkout. Work-Force’s CV plugin does not collect card numbers or banking credentials. Payment and subscription information held by Payfast is also subject to its terms and privacy notice.
Recruiter use and cancellation
I will use candidate information only to recruit for genuine vacancies. I will keep it secure, limit access to authorised staff, respect objections and deletion requests, and delete unnecessary copies. I will not scrape, bulk collect, resell, forward CVs outside the recruitment purpose or use them for unrelated marketing. I understand access is logged and can be revoked. My access ends on its displayed expiry date. Work-Force confirms payment and renewals. A membership request does not charge me. If I authorise a recurring subscription at Payfast checkout, Payfast may charge the agreed amount monthly until I cancel through Payfast or arrange cancellation with Work-Force. Signing out does not cancel that subscription.
Payments and access periods are reviewed by Work-Force. If you start recurring payments on Payfast, cancel that subscription through Payfast or contact Work-Force to arrange cancellation. Withdrawing a candidate CV or signing out does not cancel a recruiter payment subscription.
Access, correction and deletion requests
Email [email protected] to request account or directory information, correction, deletion or help withdrawing consent. We may need to establish that the request concerns your own information. Work-Force can use WordPress’s personal-data export/erasure tools for the CV, consent and membership records; these requests do not automatically remove copies already held by other recruiters.
