What This Role Involves

The organisation is investing in its Hartswater operation, and this Security Guard position reflects that commitment. The successful candidate will work across the legal and security jobs function and contribute to the wider Northern Cape business.

Crucially, the role has been written to be sustainable, not just busy. Strong output is expected, and managers in Hartswater also pay attention to recovery, learning and the kind of breathing room that keeps people doing good work over time.

Working in Hartswater

Beyond that, the role is based in Hartswater, near the Kimberley diamond heritage centre. Public transport links and parking are within easy reach, making the daily commute manageable for candidates living across Hartswater and the broader Northern Cape region.

Many candidates already living within reach of Hartswater cite the location as one of the role’s quiet wins, with shorter commutes and a real sense of being plugged into the local Northern Cape economy.

Accessibility is taken seriously: where the role allows, the team works toward a balance of in-office presence and flexibility for candidates based in and around Hartswater.

Diversity and Inclusion

Equally, the organisation supports a respectful workplace. Applications are welcome from suitably qualified candidates across Northern Cape, and recruitment is intended to be fair and transparent.

B-BBEE compliance is more than a scorecard here. It informs how the business invests in skills development, supplier diversity and community engagement across the country.
