Work-Force
A Secretary position is being filled in Roodepoort. Suitable candidates from across Gauteng are invited to submit their applications for review.
What This Role Involves
The Secretary position is part of an ongoing recruitment drive across Gauteng. The brief has been shaped carefully, with a focus on delivery in Roodepoort and across the administration jobs space.
Crucially, the successful applicant is given the room to plan, deliver and review their work without unnecessary noise. The organisation has built its Roodepoort team on trust, and the Secretary role will feel that from week one.
Beyond that, the role has been written to be sustainable, not just busy. Strong output is expected, and managers in Roodepoort also pay attention to recovery, learning and the kind of breathing room that keeps people doing good work over time.
The Environment
Notably, the environment is professional and structured. Expect a calm, well-organised office, a steady flow of support requests, and a strong culture of confidentiality.
Beyond that, the role is intended to operate under the hiring organisation’s workplace conduct, health and safety policies in Gauteng.
Health, safety and well-being are taken seriously. Current policies and procedures are maintained, and the Roodepoort site adheres to the standards expected of a responsible South African employer.
Career Growth
This role can grow with you. Strong performers in the administration jobs team in Roodepoort have moved into senior, supervisory and specialist positions, and that journey is supported through coaching, training and exposure to bigger projects.
Growth conversations happen at a regular cadence — not just at year-end — so the path forward stays current and realistic for every Roodepoort team member.
Internal mobility is encouraged. People who start in Roodepoort have moved into roles in other branches, specialist functions and project teams across Gauteng.

Line management is hands-on without being heavy. Expect regular one-to-ones, honest feedback and the support needed to do good work consistently.
