Security Officer

Work-Force

The Role

Importantly, the Security Officer vacancy forms part of how the Knysna branch keeps performing. It pairs day-to-day delivery with longer-running priorities that keep the legal and security jobs side of the business moving forward.

Communication runs both ways. Managers across the legal and security jobs team in Western Cape make time for one-to-ones, and people are expected to speak up early when something needs attention.

Reasonable working hours and respectful planning are part of how the role runs. The team values strong delivery, and load is balanced fairly across the legal and security jobs group in Knysna.

Day in the Life

Your day is built on focus and detail. You work through matter files or post lists, review evidence or contracts and check that every required record is in place. Communication with site teams, attorneys, clients or SAPS is constant, and you keep your reports factual, precise and timely. When something out of the ordinary happens, you respond calmly and follow procedure, knowing that good documentation today protects the business tomorrow.

Crucially, the Knysna office buzzes through peak hours and settles into focused, productive lulls in between, giving you time to plan and reset before the next stretch of work.

No two days look exactly the same — and that variety is part of what keeps the role engaging for the right candidate in Knysna.
