Work-Force
Looking for your next move as a Loss Prevention Officer in Durban? A role has just opened that gives you real responsibility and a clear path forward in KwaZulu-Natal.
About the Opportunity
The Loss Prevention Officer vacancy forms part of how the Durban branch keeps performing. It pairs day-to-day delivery with longer-running priorities that keep the legal and security jobs side of the business moving forward.
On top of that, the successful applicant is given the room to plan, deliver and review their work without unnecessary noise. The organisation has built its Durban team on trust, and the Loss Prevention Officer role will feel that from week one.
Quality is everyone’s job. Whether the Loss Prevention Officer is processing a transaction, supporting a colleague or handling a customer query, the standard expected in KwaZulu-Natal is consistently high and consistently fair.
Career Growth
Career progression here is real, not a slogan. The legal and security jobs space in Durban offers a clear runway from delivery into team leadership and beyond, and managers sit down with each team member regularly to map out the next step in KwaZulu-Natal.
Training is a mix of formal courses, structured on-the-job learning and exposure to broader projects, all geared at building practical skills.
Internal mobility is encouraged. People who start in Durban have moved into roles in other branches, specialist functions and project teams across KwaZulu-Natal.
Your Team
Equally, the team you will be working with is fast-paced and energetic. Things move quickly across the Durban office, and the people who thrive here are the ones who plan ahead, communicate openly and pick up the slack when KwaZulu-Natal operations get busy.
Line management is hands-on without being heavy. Expect regular one-to-ones, honest feedback and the support needed to do good work consistently.
Collaboration is the default working mode. Whether picking up a quick query or working through a complex project, you will find colleagues willing to lean in and help.
Equal Opportunity
On top of that, the organisation is committed to transformation and equal opportunity. Hiring is on merit, and applications are actively encouraged from women, youth, people with disabilities and other historically disadvantaged groups in line with the Employment Equity plan and B-BBEE objectives.
B-BBEE compliance is more than a scorecard here. It informs how the business invests in skills development, supplier diversity and community engagement across the country.
Practical steps back the words. Structured EE reporting, transformation initiatives and learnership programmes give real opportunities to candidates from across KwaZulu-Natal.
