Industrial Relations Officer

Work-Force

An opportunity has arisen for a Industrial Relations Officer in Johannesburg. Suitably qualified candidates from across Gauteng are invited to apply.

About the Opportunity

The organisation is investing in its Johannesburg operation, and this Industrial Relations Officer position reflects that commitment. The successful candidate will work across the hr jobs function and contribute to the wider Gauteng business.

Expect a structured first ninety days, with onboarding milestones, regular check-ins, and an early focus on getting comfortable with the systems and processes that underpin the Johannesburg team.

Quality is everyone’s job. Whether the Industrial Relations Officer is processing a transaction, supporting a colleague or handling a customer query, the standard expected in Gauteng is consistently high and consistently fair.

About the Team

You will join a tight-knit, collaborative team that knows the hr jobs side of the business inside out. The Johannesburg group is a healthy mix of experienced operators and newer joiners, all of whom share a strong commitment to delivery and to one another.

Notably, the team mix in Johannesburg reflects a balance of experienced operators and emerging talent, with deliberate space for diverse voices and backgrounds.

Collaboration is the default working mode. Whether picking up a quick query or working through a complex project, you will find colleagues willing to lean in and help.

Many candidates already living within reach of Johannesburg cite the location as one of the role’s quiet wins, with shorter commutes and a real sense of being plugged into the local Gauteng economy.

Accessibility is taken seriously: where the role allows, the team works toward a balance of in-office presence and flexibility for candidates based in and around Johannesburg.
