Work-Force
A Armed Response Officer is needed in Kathu. The role focuses on consistent delivery, accurate work and clear communication across the Northern Cape operation.
Overview
The Armed Response Officer vacancy forms part of how the Kathu branch keeps performing. It pairs day-to-day delivery with longer-running priorities that keep the legal and security jobs side of the business moving forward.
In addition, the organisation keeps reporting lines clean and expectations realistic. Performance is measured against a small, agreed set of metrics, and there are no surprise yardsticks for the Armed Response Officer taking on this position.
Internal documentation, process notes and shared playbooks make it easier for the Armed Response Officer to step into the legal and security jobs workflow quickly. Institutional knowledge is well-organised, so people are not reinventing the wheel from one week to the next.
Tools, systems and information are there to support the role rather than slow it down. The company continues to invest in the technology that backs its Kathu teams, and the new Armed Response Officer will feel that from the first week.
Our Commitment to Transformation
Diverse teams build stronger workplaces. Applications are welcome from candidates of every background, language and community across Northern Cape, and recruitment is fair, transparent and aligned with the EE Act.
Inclusive hiring extends through onboarding and into how teams operate every day. Respectful, fair conduct is expected from every team member in Kathu.
Practical steps back the words. Structured EE reporting, transformation initiatives and learnership programmes give real opportunities to candidates from across Northern Cape.
B-BBEE compliance is more than a scorecard here. It informs how the business invests in skills development, supplier diversity and community engagement across the country.
About the Team
Notably, the team you will be working with is fast-paced and energetic. Things move quickly across the Kathu office, and the people who thrive here are the ones who plan ahead, communicate openly and pick up the slack when Northern Cape operations get busy.
Collaboration is the default working mode. Whether picking up a quick query or working through a complex project, you will find colleagues willing to lean in and help.
Line management is hands-on without being heavy. Expect regular one-to-ones, honest feedback and the support needed to do good work consistently.
Beyond that, the team mix in Kathu reflects a balance of experienced operators and emerging talent, with deliberate space for diverse voices and backgrounds.
The Environment
On top of that, the environment is process-driven and regulation-aware. Whether you are at a desk or on site, attention to detail, calm conduct and accurate reporting are non-negotiable.
Practically speaking, the working environment is set up to give the team the focus needed for deeper work, while keeping collaboration and quick problem-solving close at hand.
On top of that, a respectful, professional environment is the standard in Northern Cape. Bullying, harassment and unfair conduct have no place here, and managers are trained to act decisively when concerns are raised.
Health, safety and well-being are taken seriously. Current policies and procedures are maintained, and the Kathu site adheres to the standards expected of a responsible South African employer.
Your Future Here
Career progression here is real, not a slogan. The legal and security jobs space in Kathu offers a clear runway from delivery into team leadership and beyond, and managers sit down with each team member regularly to map out the next step in Northern Cape.
Crucially, internal mobility is encouraged. People who start in Kathu have moved into roles in other branches, specialist functions and project teams across Northern Cape.
