We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to join our retail team in Cape Town. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing transactions efficiently, handling cash and card payments, and ensuring customers leave the store with a positive experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process sales transactions quickly and accurately.
- Handle payments, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries.
- Assist with maintaining the checkout area clean and organized.
- Balance the cash register at the end of each shift.
Qualifications:
- Matric certificate or equivalent.
- Previous cashier experience is an advantage.
- Strong numeracy and basic math skills.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
