Overview: We are seeking an experienced Logistics Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for defining logistics diagrams, developing logistics hypotheses, and validating logistics costing. You will act as the primary contact for the customer regarding project logistics, control the implementation of logistics means, and study logistics costs. You will also be involved in developing packaging prototypes and defining specifications for mass production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Logistics Diagram Definition:
- Define and create detailed logistics diagrams to support project planning and execution.
- Logistics Hypotheses Development:
- Develop material flow diagrams and preliminary data processing hypotheses to optimize logistics processes.
- Cost Validation:
- Validate and verify the hypothesis of logistics costing to ensure budget adherence and cost-efficiency.
- Strategy Integration:
- Integrate mid-term strategies with impacts on logistics and production to align with overall project goals.
- Customer Liaison:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer regarding logistics aspects of the project.
- Project Meetings:
- Participate in project review meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and logistics solutions.
- Storage Requirements:
- Define and assess storage requirements to ensure adequate facilities and systems are in place.
- Logistics Implementation Control:
- Monitor and control the implementation of logistics means and processes to ensure compliance with project plans.
- Cost Study:
- Study and analyze logistics costs associated with various processes to identify potential savings and efficiencies.
- Packaging Development:
- Develop and collaborate on packaging prototypes with suppliers to meet project specifications.
- Specification Preparation:
- Define specifications for preliminary packaging for mass production and prepare detailed specifications for the Purchasing Department.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Skills:
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in logistics and project management software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bilingual (English required); additional language skills are a plus.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- International mindset with the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
