About the Role

As a Branch Design Specialist, you will play a key role in the constructional design of floor layouts for new and upgraded branches, including offsite cash devices. You will also be responsible for alterations to existing branches, focusing on both external and internal signage, in-branch communication, and the overall branch aesthetic. Your role will involve coordinating with suppliers, contractors, landlords, and tenant coordinators to ensure the successful implementation of designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop floor layouts for new and upgraded branches.
• Oversee alterations to existing branches with an emphasis on signage and overall appearance.
• Liaise with suppliers, contractors, landlords, and tenant coordinators.
• Ensure that branch designs align with Capitec’s brand standards and operational needs.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years in architectural design and construction.
• Qualifications:
  • Minimum: Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational.
  • Ideal/Preferred: A relevant tertiary qualification.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Knowledge:
  • Building and construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • ITIL Foundation (Ideal).
• Skills:
  • Computer Literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Project management skills (methodology specific).
  • Interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  • Analytical and commercial thinking skills.

Conditions of Employment:

• A valid driver’s license and own vehicle is required.
• Clear criminal and credit record.
