Workplace Learner Retail

Work-Force

Step into a Workplace Learner Retail role in Mahikeng and make your mark across North West. The team is hiring now and wants to hear from sharp, committed candidates.

About the Opportunity

The Workplace Learner Retail vacancy forms part of how the Mahikeng branch keeps performing. It pairs day-to-day delivery with longer-running priorities that keep the in-service training side of the business moving forward.

In addition, the role suits a candidate who values consistency and clear communication. The Mahikeng operation runs on accurate work, steady relationships and a genuine respect for the people in the team.

Stakeholders for this position include line managers, peers across the in-service training team and trusted external partners. Building those relationships early makes the next twelve months in Mahikeng much easier.

Day in the Life

Your day starts with a quick check-in with your mentor and a review of the tasks you’ll shadow or own. You spend time observing experienced colleagues, asking questions and trying small pieces of work yourself. As the day progresses, you capture notes for your logbook, attend team huddles and contribute where you can. The mix of structured learning, real workplace exposure and supportive feedback helps you turn classroom theory into skills you can actually use.

No two days look exactly the same — and that variety is part of what keeps the role engaging for the right candidate in Mahikeng.

Equally, the Mahikeng office buzzes through peak hours and settles into focused, productive lulls in between, giving you time to plan and reset before the next stretch of work.

Diversity and Inclusion

Notably, the organisation is committed to transformation and equal opportunity. Hiring is on merit, and applications are actively encouraged from women, youth, people with disabilities and other historically disadvantaged groups in line with the Employment Equity plan and B-BBEE objectives.

B-BBEE compliance is more than a scorecard here. It informs how the business invests in skills development, supplier diversity and community engagement across the country.

Practical steps back the words. Structured EE reporting, transformation initiatives and learnership programmes give real opportunities to candidates from across North West.
