- Attend on-site and online learning sessions linked to your qualification
- Build a professional portfolio of evidence for your qualification
- Capture data, prepare reports and assist with departmental administration
- Provide feedback to your mentor on learning gaps and goals
- Maintain a workplace logbook in line with your institution’s requirements
- Support live projects under the guidance of senior team members
- Complete structured training modules and submit reflections to your mentor
Candidate Profile
- Strong academic record in your chosen field
- Clear criminal record verified through approved screening
- Reliable transport to the placement location
- Legally entitled to work in South Africa for the duration of the placement
- References from your institution or previous employers
- Willingness to learn, take feedback and adapt quickly
- Letter from your TVET college or university confirming the in-service training requirement
