A vacancy has been confirmed for a Forklift Operator based in Johannesburg, Gauteng. The successful candidate will join an established team within the logistics jobs function.

Overview

The Forklift Operator vacancy forms part of how the Johannesburg branch keeps performing. It pairs day-to-day delivery with longer-running priorities that keep the logistics jobs side of the business moving forward.

Crucially, the successful applicant is given the room to plan, deliver and review their work without unnecessary noise. The organisation has built its Johannesburg team on trust, and the Forklift Operator role will feel that from week one.

Tools, systems and information are there to support the role rather than slow it down. The company continues to invest in the technology that backs its Johannesburg teams, and the new Forklift Operator will feel that from the first week.

Internal documentation, process notes and shared playbooks make it easier for the Forklift Operator to step into the logistics jobs workflow quickly. Institutional knowledge is well-organised, so people are not reinventing the wheel from one week to the next.

Diversity and Inclusion

Inclusion is a core part of how the team operates. This is an equal-opportunity employer, and candidates from all communities — including women, youth and persons living with disabilities — are encouraged to apply for this role in Johannesburg.

Practical steps back the words. Structured EE reporting, transformation initiatives and learnership programmes give real opportunities to candidates from across Gauteng.

Inclusive hiring extends through onboarding and into how teams operate every day. Respectful, fair conduct is expected from every team member in Johannesburg.

B-BBEE compliance is more than a scorecard here. It informs how the business invests in skills development, supplier diversity and community engagement across the country.

Based in Johannesburg

Johannesburg continues to grow as an employment hub in Gauteng, with minutes from the Sandton CBD. This role gives you a foothold in one of its busier business communities, with access to the local services, suppliers and partners that keep the work moving.

Many candidates already living within reach of Johannesburg cite the location as one of the role’s quiet wins, with shorter commutes and a real sense of being plugged into the local Gauteng economy.

Accessibility is taken seriously: where the role allows, the team works toward a balance of in-office presence and flexibility for candidates based in and around Johannesburg.

If you are relocating, the team can share practical pointers on neighbourhoods, transport and the typical pace of life in Johannesburg, Gauteng.

About the Team

You will join a tight-knit, collaborative team that knows the logistics jobs side of the business inside out. The Johannesburg group is a healthy mix of experienced operators and newer joiners, all of whom share a strong commitment to delivery and to one another.

Collaboration is the default working mode. Whether picking up a quick query or working through a complex project, you will find colleagues willing to lean in and help.

Line management is hands-on without being heavy. Expect regular one-to-ones, honest feedback and the support needed to do good work consistently.

Importantly, the team mix in Johannesburg reflects a balance of experienced operators and emerging talent, with deliberate space for diverse voices and backgrounds.
