About This Position
The organisation is investing in its Kempton Park operation, and this Code 14 Driver with PDP position reflects that commitment. The successful candidate will work across the logistics jobs function and contribute to the wider Gauteng business.
Expect a structured first ninety days, with onboarding milestones, regular check-ins, and an early focus on getting comfortable with the systems and processes that underpin the Kempton Park team.
Beyond that, the role has been written to be sustainable, not just busy. Strong output is expected, and managers in Kempton Park also pay attention to recovery, learning and the kind of breathing room that keeps people doing good work over time.
Equal Opportunity
Equally, the organisation is committed to fair, merit-based recruitment and equal opportunity. Applications are assessed against the published role requirements in line with applicable employment law.
B-BBEE compliance is more than a scorecard here. It informs how the business invests in skills development, supplier diversity and community engagement across the country.
Importantly, the hiring organisation’s applicable employment-equity and inclusion practices will be explained in the final vacancy details for Gauteng.
A Typical Day
Your day kicks off in the yard or at the dock, checking schedules, briefing your team and lining up the day’s priorities. You move between receiving, picking, dispatch and the WMS, keeping a close eye on accuracy and time slots. There are constant conversations — with drivers, controllers, customers and the warehouse floor — and the better you communicate, the smoother things run. By the end of the shift, the racks are tidy, the trucks are out, and the next inbound load is already on its way.
No two days look exactly the same — and that variety is part of what keeps the role engaging for the right candidate in Kempton Park.
Crucially, the rhythm rewards people who plan ahead but also pivot quickly when Gauteng operations throw up the unexpected.
What We Offer
Few roles let you see the impact of your work as quickly as this one. Every shift, project and decision in Kempton Park contributes to real outcomes for clients and colleagues across the logistics jobs space in Gauteng.
Notably, the role’s development opportunities, training and benefits, if offered, will be set out in the final vacancy details.
