  • To interpret and translate business requirements to deliver business value through evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.


    We are looking for a resource with Mastery of SAP and Understanding of BI tools.


    Minimum educational level:                                                      

    • Bachelor's Degree (e.g. BCom/BSc Degree)
    • Relevant SAP certifications
    • Minimum 5 years working experience with any 3 or more of the following modules: SAP Modules QM, PP, MM, SD, FI & FI Controlling, PM
    • SAP S4 HANA Basis would be advantageous



    Additional requirements for the role:

    • A mature resource who has a strong and holistic technical background, and SAP specific experience
    • Mastery of SAP & Understanding of BI tools would be advantageous
    • Understanding Business Analysis Techniques and Principles
    • Understanding of technology developments in the Applications space
    • Understanding of system integration and  interfacing techniques
    • Report writing skills


    Purpose of the position:

    • Liaise and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders with a view to acquiring and maintaining the integrity of the business and of SAP
    • Support the application and first level support and users
    • Maintain enriched SAP functionality by compiling suggested enhancements, based on engagements with business focal points and reviews of business processes
    • Document the system, including system processes, interfaces, specifications, design documents and end-user reports
    • Develop and perform application unit testing for all system changes
    • Manage risk review and security considerations related to SAP
    • Develop business cases for proposed solutions
    • Manage SAP System Health checks and audits and ensure corrective action is carried out where necessary
    • Manage our engagements with 3rd parties
    • Manage the escalation and call logging procedures to SAP Global
    • Liaise with the SAP Global Centre of Excellence to manage SAP incidents




    • Provide Business Analysis together with testing and validation of solutions
    • Engage users in developing and discussing potential solutions to meet their specifications.
    • Devise test criteria to ensure that changes meet user's specifications
    • Manage installation of new software related to SAP and to ensure feasibility, compatibility and a smooth roll-out
    • Train superusers in order to enhance performance and to familiarise new system users with key features of the application
    • Manage data integrity and conversions to ensure data consistency
    • Retrieve and supply information as per user requirements
    • Monitor and enhance system performance
    • Ensure that system benchmarks are conducted periodically (performance monitoring)
    • Develop and maintain relevant solution documentation
    • Ensure HSSE compliance
    • Monitor of the SAP system technical and landscape and plan recommended software updates as required by SAP
    • Train users in order to enhance performance and familiarise new system users with key features of the application and use of the SAP helpdesk
    • Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and maintaining and updating the current business blueprint process flies
