Secretary

Work-Force

Bring your skills as a Secretary to Phalaborwa and join a team that moves fast. This Limpopo role is one to watch.

The Role

This Secretary role sits within the administration jobs function in Phalaborwa. It offers a defined scope, clear measures of success, and the support of an experienced team across Limpopo.

The successful applicant is given the room to plan, deliver and review their work without unnecessary noise. The organisation has built its Phalaborwa team on trust, and the Secretary role will feel that from week one.

Practically speaking, the role has been written to be sustainable, not just busy. Strong output is expected, and managers in Phalaborwa also pay attention to recovery, learning and the kind of breathing room that keeps people doing good work over time.

Tools, systems and information are there to support the role rather than slow it down. The company continues to invest in the technology that backs its Phalaborwa teams, and the new Secretary will feel that from the first week.

Growing With Us

Crucially, this role can grow with you. Strong performers in the administration jobs team in Phalaborwa have moved into senior, supervisory and specialist positions, and that journey is supported through coaching, training and exposure to bigger projects.

Internal mobility is encouraged. People who start in Phalaborwa have moved into roles in other branches, specialist functions and project teams across Limpopo.

Growth conversations happen at a regular cadence — not just at year-end — so the path forward stays current and realistic for every Phalaborwa team member.

Training is a mix of formal courses, structured on-the-job learning and exposure to broader projects, all geared at building practical skills.

About the Team

You will join a tight-knit, collaborative team that knows the administration jobs side of the business inside out. The Phalaborwa group is a healthy mix of experienced operators and newer joiners, all of whom share a strong commitment to delivery and to one another.

Collaboration is the default working mode. Whether picking up a quick query or working through a complex project, you will find colleagues willing to lean in and help.

Line management is hands-on without being heavy. Expect regular one-to-ones, honest feedback and the support needed to do good work consistently.

On top of that, the team structure and working relationships for this role in Phalaborwa will be explained during the hiring process.

Diversity and Inclusion

Inclusive recruitment is part of the organisation’s employment practices. Applicants are assessed on relevant qualifications, skills and experience for this role in Phalaborwa.

B-BBEE compliance is more than a scorecard here. It informs how the business invests in skills development, supplier diversity and community engagement across the country.

In addition, the hiring organisation’s applicable employment-equity and inclusion practices will be explained in the final vacancy details for Limpopo.

Crucially, inclusive hiring extends through onboarding and into how teams operate every day. Respectful, fair conduct is expected from every team member in Phalaborwa.

Where You’ll Work

Beyond that, the environment is professional and structured. Expect a calm, well-organised office, a steady flow of support requests, and a strong culture of confidentiality.
