About the Opportunity
This Security Officer role has been briefed against a clear set of outcomes for Tzaneen. The successful candidate will work alongside an established team and will be expected to contribute meaningfully to the legal and security jobs pipeline across Limpopo.
Communication runs both ways. Managers across the legal and security jobs team in Limpopo make time for one-to-ones, and people are expected to speak up early when something needs attention.
The role has been written to be sustainable, not just busy. Strong output is expected, and managers in Tzaneen also pay attention to recovery, learning and the kind of breathing room that keeps people doing good work over time.
Day in the Life
Your day is built on focus and detail. You work through matter files or post lists, review evidence or contracts and check that every required record is in place. Communication with site teams, attorneys, clients or SAPS is constant, and you keep your reports factual, precise and timely. When something out of the ordinary happens, you respond calmly and follow procedure, knowing that good documentation today protects the business tomorrow.
Beyond that, the Tzaneen office buzzes through peak hours and settles into focused, productive lulls in between, giving you time to plan and reset before the next stretch of work.
No two days look exactly the same — and that variety is part of what keeps the role engaging for the right candidate in Tzaneen.
Career Growth
Importantly, this role can grow with you. Strong performers in the legal and security jobs team in Tzaneen have moved into senior, supervisory and specialist positions, and that journey is supported through coaching, training and exposure to bigger projects.
Growth conversations happen at a regular cadence — not just at year-end — so the path forward stays current and realistic for every Tzaneen team member.
Internal mobility is encouraged. People who start in Tzaneen have moved into roles in other branches, specialist functions and project teams across Limpopo.
