Step into a Caregiver role in Aliwal North and make your mark across Eastern Cape. The team is hiring now and wants to hear from sharp, committed candidates.
About This Position
An experienced Caregiver is needed to support operations in Aliwal North. The role forms part of how the business keeps its health jobs portfolio strong in Eastern Cape.
The successful applicant is given the room to plan, deliver and review their work without unnecessary noise. The organisation has built its Aliwal North team on trust, and the Caregiver role will feel that from week one.
Reasonable working hours and respectful planning are part of how the role runs. The team values strong delivery, and load is balanced fairly across the health jobs group in Aliwal North.
A Typical Day
You start your shift with a thorough handover, picking up patient histories, treatment plans and any concerns from the previous team. The morning is paced but purposeful — vital signs, medication rounds, bedside conversations — and you’re constantly switching between clinical tasks and the very human work of reassuring patients and families. Multi-disciplinary rounds give you a chance to advocate for your patients, and by the time you hand over again, you have done meaningful work that makes a real difference to the people in your care.
Equally, the Aliwal North office buzzes through peak hours and settles into focused, productive lulls in between, giving you time to plan and reset before the next stretch of work.
Notably, the rhythm rewards people who plan ahead but also pivot quickly when Eastern Cape operations throw up the unexpected.
Equal Opportunity
Inclusive recruitment is part of the organisation’s employment practices. Applicants are assessed on relevant qualifications, skills and experience for this role in Aliwal North.
Equally, inclusive hiring extends through onboarding and into how teams operate every day. Respectful, fair conduct is expected from every team member in Aliwal North.
On top of that, the hiring organisation’s applicable employment-equity and inclusion practices will be explained in the final vacancy details for Eastern Cape.

Collaboration is the default working mode. Whether picking up a quick query or working through a complex project, you will find colleagues willing to lean in and help.
