Work-Force
The organisation is recruiting a Compliance Officer for its Giyani operation. The role forms part of a wider legal and security jobs portfolio across Limpopo.
About the Opportunity
Beyond that, the organisation is investing in its Giyani operation, and this Compliance Officer position reflects that commitment. The successful candidate will work across the legal and security jobs function and contribute to the wider Limpopo business.
Expect a structured first ninety days, with onboarding milestones, regular check-ins, and an early focus on getting comfortable with the systems and processes that underpin the Giyani team.
Tools, systems and information are there to support the role rather than slow it down. The company continues to invest in the technology that backs its Giyani teams, and the new Compliance Officer will feel that from the first week.
Diversity and Inclusion
Inclusive recruitment is part of the organisation’s employment practices. Applicants are assessed on relevant qualifications, skills and experience for this role in Giyani.
Notably, the hiring organisation’s applicable employment-equity and inclusion practices will be explained in the final vacancy details for Limpopo.
B-BBEE compliance is more than a scorecard here. It informs how the business invests in skills development, supplier diversity and community engagement across the country.
Meet the Team
Crucially, the team you will be working with is fast-paced and energetic. Things move quickly across the Giyani office, and the people who thrive here are the ones who plan ahead, communicate openly and pick up the slack when Limpopo operations get busy.
Collaboration is the default working mode. Whether picking up a quick query or working through a complex project, you will find colleagues willing to lean in and help.
Line management is hands-on without being heavy. Expect regular one-to-ones, honest feedback and the support needed to do good work consistently.
Day in the Life
Your day is built on focus and detail. You work through matter files or post lists, review evidence or contracts and check that every required record is in place. Communication with site teams, attorneys, clients or SAPS is constant, and you keep your reports factual, precise and timely. When something out of the ordinary happens, you respond calmly and follow procedure, knowing that good documentation today protects the business tomorrow.
No two days look exactly the same — and that variety is part of what keeps the role engaging for the right candidate in Giyani.
Importantly, the rhythm rewards people who plan ahead but also pivot quickly when Limpopo operations throw up the unexpected.
