Senior Data Analyst (Digital Transformation) opportunity in Johannesburg, Gauteng.
Our client is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support digital transformation initiatives by analysing business processes, financial data and reporting environments. You will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver data-driven insights, reporting solutions and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Analyse business processes, financial systems and reporting environments. Gather and document business and data requirements. Translate business requirements into functional specifications.
Analyse large datasets to identify trends, risks and opportunities. Perform data profiling, data quality assessments and root cause analysis. Develop financial and operational reporting solutions.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, BI teams and project teams. Identify process improvements and support digital transformation initiatives. Ensure the accuracy and quality of data and reporting deliverables.
Requirements
5–8 years’ experience as a Data Analyst. Experience with financial systems and system integrations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience working with large datasets. Knowledge of data warehousing concepts. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Banking or financial services experience is advantageous.
