Role Overview
In this position, you will be responsible for:
• Assisting with Scaffolding Setup: Supporting the lead scaffolder with the assembly and erection of scaffolding.
• Transporting Materials: Moving scaffold parts to and from the worksite.
• Site Preparation: Ensuring the site is prepared for scaffolding setup, including clearing debris and marking areas.
• Safety Checks: Assisting in inspecting the scaffolding to ensure it meets safety standards before use.
• Dismantling: Assisting with safely dismantling scaffolding once the project is complete.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should have:
• Physical Strength: Ability to carry and handle heavy materials.
• Attention to Detail: Focus on ensuring scaffolding is safely assembled and maintained.
• Safety Awareness: Knowledge of basic safety practices in a construction environment.
• Teamwork: Willingness to work collaboratively with scaffolders and other site workers.
• Experience: Prior experience in construction is a plus, but not required.
