Housekeeping Supervisor

Work-Force

Looking for your next move as a Housekeeping Supervisor in Parys? A role has just opened that gives you real responsibility and a clear path forward in Free State.

About This Position

The organisation is investing in its Parys operation, and this Housekeeping Supervisor position reflects that commitment. The successful candidate will work across the hospitality jobs function and contribute to the wider Free State business.

On top of that, the successful applicant is given the room to plan, deliver and review their work without unnecessary noise. The organisation has built its Parys team on trust, and the Housekeeping Supervisor role will feel that from week one.

Importantly, the role has been written to be sustainable, not just busy. Strong output is expected, and managers in Parys also pay attention to recovery, learning and the kind of breathing room that keeps people doing good work over time.

A Typical Day

Your shift usually starts with a brief from the duty manager, a quick station check and a look at the day’s bookings or specials. As guests arrive, you slip into a steady rhythm — warm welcomes, accurate orders and seamless coordination with the kitchen and bar. Service peaks demand calm focus and tight teamwork, and quieter moments are spent resetting tables, polishing glassware or training a new starter. When the last guest leaves happy, you know you have delivered a memorable hospitality experience.

Notably, the Parys office buzzes through peak hours and settles into focused, productive lulls in between, giving you time to plan and reset before the next stretch of work.

Importantly, the rhythm rewards people who plan ahead but also pivot quickly when Free State operations throw up the unexpected.

Diversity and Inclusion

Inclusion is a core part of how the team operates. This is an equal-opportunity employer, and candidates from all communities — including women, youth and persons living with disabilities — are encouraged to apply for this role in Parys.

Practical steps back the words. Structured EE reporting, transformation initiatives and learnership programmes give real opportunities to candidates from across Free State.

B-BBEE compliance is more than a scorecard here. It informs how the business invests in skills development, supplier diversity and community engagement across the country.
