Maintenance Manager position available. Job Purpose:
To develop and implement effective maintenance management programs to ensure maximum equipment uptime, lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, and ensure that maintenance activities are coordinated with production schedules. The role involves managing maintenance budgets, analyzing maintenance data, and developing training programs to enhance staff skills and adherence to best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance Management:
- Develop and implement maintenance management programs to ensure maximum uptime of equipment and machinery.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of equipment to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support in day-to-day operations.
- Develop training programs for staff to enhance skills and ensure best practices are followed within the team.
- Coordination and Scheduling:
- Coordinate with other departments to synchronize maintenance activities with production schedules.
- Analyze maintenance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Budget Management:
- Manage maintenance budgets, ensuring cost-effective expenditure and optimal resource allocation.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Analyze maintenance performance data and implement corrective actions to improve reliability and efficiency.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to enhance maintenance programs.
Requirements:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in maintenance management, preferably within a solar environment.
- Skills: Strong understanding of maintenance best practices and reliability-centered maintenance principles. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
- Software: Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and related software.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Communication: Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
