Who Qualifies for NSFAS Funding?
To be eligible for a NSFAS bursary, you must meet the following criteria:
- South African Citizenship: You should be a South African citizen planning to study in 2024 or currently enrolled in a public university or TVET college.
- Financial Eligibility:
- SASSA grant recipients automatically qualify based on financial need.
- Household income should not exceed R350,000 per year, or R600,000 per year for students with disabilities.
- Contact Information: An active email address and cellphone number are required.
